Roverhound Singapore is originally from Indonesia, Jakarta and has finally made its paws all the way to beautiful Sunny Singapore
 

The word 'Rover' comes from the name Curiosity Rover (NASA) that is currently on Mars. We want Dogs & Cats to be able to wander and roam around freely, for them to be uncaged so that they are able to explore like the Curiosity Rover and not just be cooped up at home waiting for their owners to come back.

 

Hence the name Roverhound = Rover + Hound 

 

Roverhound was started by a lady who loves animals and wants to be their voice and at the same time give back to the community. As it is common in Indonesia for pets to be reported missing or stolen, she came up with an idea of handcrafting collars which includes information such as the pet's names + pet owner's contact number.

 

The idea for the name stamp on the collars does not only serve as a fashion statement but as a glimmer of hope that a kind soul would give the pet owner's a call or even bring them back to the address on it.
